Caring for your Sling
Lil’ Wallaby slings are made using durable and machine washable fabrics. We have chosen fabrics that are composed of 97% cotton and 3% lycra/spandex to allow for some stretch in the fit of the sling. This stretch provides increased comfort across the shoulder for the wearer, as well as an accommodating pouch for the baby. Because of this stretch component, we recommend washing your sling periodically to restore the sling to its original size.
Slings should be washed on a cold water cycle and then hung to dry. Of course, if you are trying to shrink your sling to achieve a smaller fit go ahead with a warm water wash and tumble dry. Slings can be ironed but care should be taken to avoid running the iron over the stampled logo, as this may cause damage.
